15 August 1943. Gradou, Kefalonia. A little after midnight. The British submarine, the HMS D. Anderson, secretly drops off British Lieutenant & Royal Navy Special Unit Commander, Gerasimos Zapantis. He’s on an undercover and dangerous mission. Greece is suffering from the triple occupation (German, Italian and Bulgarian) and the island of Kefalonia is under the authority of fascists Italy.
